Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Elliot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Davin Barajas!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barajas shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Barajas was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Barajas is working Elliot over with some ground and pound from side control.
Barajas decides to stand back up.
Elliot doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Barajas counters with a single leg into guard. Elliot didn't expect that.
Barajas lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Elliot is rocked!
Barajas postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Elliot covers up, he's hurt! Barajas keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Barajas and the ref steps in to end the fight! Barajas can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
