The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anstey throws a lazy right hand but Vassilakos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Anstey looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Vassilakos on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Anstey takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Anstey rushes Vassilakos and presses him up against the cage.
Vassilakos lands a left hand.
Vassilakos looking to stall.

Anstey has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Vassilakos regains guard immediately.

Vassilakos is looking for a triangle here but Anstey uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Vassilakos manages to get back to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Vassilakos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Anstey defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anstey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vassilakos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Anstey has managed to get both his arms back between Vassilakos's legs - danger averted.
Anstey stands and throws Vassilakos's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Anstey tries to move to mount but Vassilakos blocks the move with his legs.

Vassilakos is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Anstey pulls his head out easily.

Vassilakos isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Anstey stacks Vassilakos on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Anstey!

Anstey lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Vassilakos down.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Anstey and Vassilakos goes tumbling to the canvas! Anstey follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anstey in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Vassilakos looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Anstey turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
