Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shaquiel Igwe (ranked 4219 p4p, 4126 weight class) and Aden Right (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shaquiel Igwe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aden Right! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Chris Dean and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Right fails in his attempt to clinch. A momentary lapse in concentration from Igwe enables Right to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Igwe manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Right wants to control from the top but Igwe keeps moving. Igwe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Igwe controlling the action here. Igwe seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Right for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Right manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Right trying to keep a closed guard but Igwe is proving a slippery customer.
Right looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Igwe stands up from guard. Let's bang! Igwe goes for a double leg but Right avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Right continues to drive forward. Right has Igwe pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Igwe manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Igwe drops down looking for an ankle pick but Right pulls his leg out and moves away.
Igwe will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shaquiel Igwe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Igwe fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Igwe fails with a takedown attempt.

Right tries to score a power double leg takedown but Igwe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Right somewhat. Right shoots for a takedown but Igwe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Right looks winded! Right misses with a takedown and Igwe counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Igwe. Igwe has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Right is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Igwe is trying to pull guard but Right turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Igwe lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Right. Igwe looking for a takedown. A quick uppercut on the inside from Igwe. Igwe jumps into guard, dragging Right to the mat.
Igwe kicks Right off and gets to his feet. Igwe looks to land a combination but Right avoids it well. Igwe shoots in for a takedown but Right shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Igwe misses with a wild body shot. Nice takedown defense from Right. No joy for Igwe on that attempt. Igwe throws a push kick but Right slaps the foot to one side. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Igwe is defended easily by Right.

This has been an exciting period of action! Igwe with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Igwe pulls Right into guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Igwe holds on and takes a little breather. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Igwe moves into the clinch. Igwe has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Right uses from the top position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Igwe holds on and takes a little breather. Right drops back looking for a leg! Igwe is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Igwe manages to kick Right off! Right jumps back into Igwe's guard. Igwe wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Right drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Right jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Right won't allow Igwe to sweep him here. Igwe controlling Right's posture. Right tries to stand but Igwe is controlling from the bottom. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Right is breathing heavily. Igwe pulls Right in to control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Igwe closes the distance and pushes Right back into the cage. Igwe breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Igwe gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Igwe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Igwe has Right up against the cage in a clinch.
Igwe is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Right gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Igwe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Igwe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Igwe misses with a takedown attempt - Right sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shaquiel Igwe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Igwe closes the distance and pushes Right back into the cage.

Igwe ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Igwe no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Igwe is looking for a triangle but Right pushes his legs off easily.
Right throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Igwe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Right on the ground. Igwe is adopting a defensive guard. Right trying to control but Igwe is working from the bottom. Igwe wants to get back to his feet but Right passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Igwe is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Right pulls his head out easily. Igwe keeping control of the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Igwe moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Shaquiel Igwe dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Right tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Igwe throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Right to regain full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Igwe stands and steps away. Right gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Right takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Aden Right has been cut. Right takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. No luck with that takedown attempt from Right. Igwe is trying hard to land a takedown here. Right sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Igwe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Right throws a head kick but Igwe moves out of range.
Igwe fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shaquiel Igwe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Igwe forces Right back against the cage and clinches.

Right fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Igwe sprawls well initially but Right persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Igwe has one foot on Right's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Igwe shoots in and drives through. Right sprawls well. Igwe rushes Right and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Igwe gets control of Right's arms and successfully pulls guard. Igwe will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Igwe will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Igwe pulls Right in to control the position. Igwe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Right's guard. Igwe is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Igwe is stalling in the full guard. Aden Right has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Shaquiel Igwe is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Right looking for a guillotine here but Igwe defends easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Shaquiel Igwe showed his dominance in that final round. Well Igwe has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
