The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Banks is looking to clinch.
Kingdad pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kingdad scores with a sloppy right hand. Banks should have avoided that one.

It looks like Tyquanvious Banks has been cut.
Kingdad stuns Banks with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Banks gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kingdad pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lionheart Kingdad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kingdad misses with a hook.
Banks on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Kingdad escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Banks misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kingdad cracks Banks with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kingdad throws out a loose jab but Banks uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kingdad weaves into range and cracks Banks right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Banks goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Kingdad is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
