Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takashi Morimoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eder Freitas!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freitas defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Morimoto.

Morimoto bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
You can see the frustration on Freitas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Freitas is working to avoid the ground and pound but Morimoto connects with a decent elbow.
Freitas is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Morimoto asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Morimoto tries to score with some ground and pound. Freitas controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Freitas is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Freitas takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Freitas tries to buck Morimoto off but Morimoto is having none of it.

Morimoto is working Freitas over with some ground and pound from side control.
Freitas on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Morimoto lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Morimoto landing strikes.

Freitas is rocked!
Morimoto lands a strong strike to the head of Freitas. That's dazed him! Morimoto looking to finish here. Freitas is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Morimoto lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
