Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Davis (ranked 4209 p4p, 4208 weight class) and Brandon Nunez (ranked 0 p4p, 179 weight class). Nunez has chosen Espanol as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nunez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Davis gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Nunez regains guard.
Nunez wants to get back to his feet but Davis is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Nunez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Nunez wants to stand and escape but Davis is having none of it.
Nunez working a defensive guard here.
Davis won't allow Nunez to sweep him here.
Nunez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nunez trying to control from half guard but Davis is working away.
Nunez stalling away here and it's allowed Davis to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Nunez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Davis throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Nunez trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom.
Davis wants to stand but Nunez is controlling the position.
Davis working a defensive guard but Nunez manages to pass into side control anyway.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Nunez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Davis keeps working.
The strikes coming from Nunez are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Davis is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Nunez has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Davis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nunez on the ground.
The referee asks Nunez politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nunez prefers to stall for the moment though.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Nunez trying to control the position but Davis is working away.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Davis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nunez to the mat! Nunez manages to get full guard.

Davis is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nunez has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Davis is looking to defend but Nunez has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Davis! Nunez pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Davis taps out and this one is all over!

A relieved looking Brandon Nunez thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
