The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Richards!
Richards is trying to improve his position.
Wagner is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Richards is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Richards is trying to control Wagner's posture but Wagner avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Richards is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wagner tries for a kimura but Richards is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wagner thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Wagner is trying to get an arm triangle but Richards is defending well.
Wagner tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Wagner has an Americana. Richards didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Wagner is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Wagner hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
