The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Sampson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Sampson prevents Clubb from getting back to his feet.
Sampson controls from within his opponent's guard.
Clubb will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Clubb controls Sampson momentarily but Sampson frees himself.

Sampson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Clubb is defending well though. Sampson let's go of the attempt for now.

It looks like Logan Clubb has been cut.

Sampson is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Clubb has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Sampson has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Clubb taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Sampson doesn't care though - he's delighted!
