Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Bispen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Wille Thai!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai closes the distance and clinches up with Bispen, looking for a takedown. Thai pushes Bispen against the cage but Bispen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Bispen on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bispen throws a predictable looking body shot
and Thai counters with a shoot takedown. Bispen fights it but they end up in guard.
Bispen seems keen to control Thai's posture.
Thai thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Thai forces his way into half guard.
Thai prevents Bispen from standing back up.
Thai is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bispen is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
