And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quinten Hendricks!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks moves into range and clinches up with Simbolon.
Simbolon manages to break the clinch.
A punch combination from Simbolon misses.
Hendricks appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Simbolon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Simbolon throws a shot from downtown. Hendricks moves away and avoids it.
Hendricks has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hendricks tries a body shot but Simbolon blocks it.
Simbolon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hendricks tries to close the distance and clinch but Simbolon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Simbolon circles away from the clinch attempt
and Simbolon counters with a straight right hand.
Simbolon connects with a right hand. Hendricks shakes it off.
Hendricks has managed to clinch.
Hendricks jumps into guard, dragging Simbolon to the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hendricks holds on and takes a little breather.
Simbolon is posturing up here but Hendricks has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Simbolon tries to roll out but it's too tight and Simbolon has to tap! Slick submission there by Hendricks!
