Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between PotterStone Livingstone (ranked 23975 p4p, 25078 weight class) and Ian Gary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ian Gary will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, PotterStone Livingstone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ian Gary! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gary changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Livingstone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sloppy strikes there by Gary. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gary decides to stand back up. Gary steps back and let's Livingstone get back to his feet. Gary gets a double leg takedown into Livingstone's guard. Gary controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Livingstone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gary can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gary throwing strikes from guard but Livingstone blocks nicely. Livingstone working for submissions but it's allowed Gary to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gary missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gary moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Livingstone.
Gary decides to stand back up. Gary is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Livingstone with a lazy takedown attempt and Gary counters by moving into the clinch. Gary gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Livingstone regains guard.
Gary wants to pass the guard but Livingstone is keeping the position. Livingstone is working an open guard so Gary takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gary throws a head kick but Livingstone moves out of range.
Gary rushes Livingstone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Livingstone tries to score a body lock takedown but Gary shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Gary has Livingstone pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gary pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Livingstone tumbling to the mat - Gary dives into Livingstone's guard. Livingstone wriggles free and stands up. Livingstone is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gary shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Gary performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gary is looking to take a break and control but Livingstone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gary looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Livingstone trying to hold on to Gary's head to control him but Gary postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Livingstone moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Gary working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Livingstone striking off his back but it's not causing Gary any problems.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Gary feints and as Livingstone raises his hands in defense, Gary changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Gary thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Gary trying to control the position from guard on top but Livingstone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ian Gary dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Gary instigates a clinch. Gary is looking to control Livingstone's arms but Livingstone gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gary has his back to the cage. Livingstone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gary drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gary trying to control the action but Livingstone is working from the bottom. Livingstone is looking to reverse the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Livingstone striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Gary cracks Livingstone with a big elbow. Gary wants to lay and pray for a moment but Livingstone keeps working. Check out the look on Gary's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gary remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Livingstone tries to buck Gary off but Gary is having none of it. Livingstone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Gary landing strikes. Gary trying to control the position but Livingstone is working away. Gary is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Livingstone knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Livingstone is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Livingstone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Gary pushes Livingstone up against the cage in a clinch. Gary gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Livingstone manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Livingstone manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gary on his heels. He'll look to pass Gary's guard now, I'm sure. Gary is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gary is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gary is adopting a defensive guard. Gary has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gary wants to stand but Livingstone is controlling the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Livingstone looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ian Gary will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Gary gets a takedown into half guard. Livingstone kicks Gary off and gets back to his feet. PotterStone Livingstone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gary looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Livingstone tries to keep at a distance but Gary has taken the fight into the clinch. Gary has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Livingstone uses from the top position. Gary takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gary wants to sweep but no luck. Livingstone content to stall in guard here. Gary is trying to control the position but Livingstone postures up. Livingstone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gary is keeping the position for now. Livingstone trying to control but Gary is working from the bottom. Livingstone postures up and lands a big shot to Gary's brow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gary working a defensive guard here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Livingstone gets tackled into the cage by Gary. Gary maintains the clinch. Livingstone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Livingstone rushes Gary and presses him up against the cage. Gary drags the fight down to the ground.
Livingstone is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Gary thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Livingstone seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gary keeping moving, preventing Livingstone from controlling successfully. Livingstone is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Gary is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Livingstone decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gary, up you get!
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Livingstone shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Livingstone showed some decent athleticism there. Gary wants to get back to full guard. Gary is trying to control but can't.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gary tries to roll over but Livingstone keeps him under control.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to PotterStone Livingstone. Well Gary has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
