And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Messing throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Strong misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Messing displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Strong throws out the jab.
We've been told by Strong's head coaches at Ragnarok\'s Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Strong lands a nice hook to Messing's body. Messing takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Strong thumps Messing with a low kick.
Crunch! Strong slams his shin into Messing's torso.
Strong connects with a nice looking jab.
Messing looks to land a right hand but Strong moved out of range.
Strong looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Strong dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Strong lands a nice shot to the body.

and Messing counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Strong!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
You can see the frustration on Strong's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Strong is letting Messing control him for a moment.

Messing working away.
Messing throws an elbow but Strong slips to the side and avoids it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Strong tries to buck Messing off but Messing is having none of it.
Strong sneaks back into half guard.
Strong gets full guard.
Messing throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Strong wants to stand and escape but Messing is having none of it.
Messing with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Messing forces his way into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Strong is looking to improve his position.
Messing moves nicely into side control.
Messing scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Strong to see if he's OK.
Messing cracks Strong with a big right hand but Strong just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Messing trying to control the position but Strong is working away.
Strong wants to get back to his feet but Messing drags him back down.
Messing works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Messing grinds an elbow into Strong's temple.
Strong looks to move to half guard but instead Messing has passed into mount! Damn!
Strong tries to hold on but Messing pushes him away.

It looks like Lucaerys Strong has been cut.

Strong is rocked!
Strong takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Messing's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
