Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeffrey Hiemstra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Slade Vaughan!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiemstra pushes Vaughan up against the cage in a clinch.
Vaughan is looking for a takedown.
Hiemstra has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Vaughan is trying to keep an underhook but Hiemstra manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Hiemstra throwing shots but Vaughan is blocking nicely.
Hiemstra tries to stand and escape but Vaughan actually recovers to full guard.
Hiemstra wants to get up but he can't break Vaughan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Vaughan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Hiemstra trying to control but Vaughan is working from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vaughan can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hiemstra wants to stand but Vaughan is controlling his posture from full guard.
Hiemstra throws a strike but Vaughan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vaughan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Hiemstra is looking to stand up but Vaughan isn't so interested in that idea.
Hiemstra really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Vaughan controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Vaughan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Hiemstra fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hiemstra throws a series of strikes that have Vaughan backpedaling.
Hiemstra gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Vaughan distracts Hiemstra with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Vaughan scoring with some ground and pound.
Vaughan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hiemstra is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hiemstra has escaped and now he's on top!
Hiemstra postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Vaughan will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Vaughan looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Vaughan keeping moving, preventing Hiemstra from controlling successfully.
Vaughan is looking for a triangle but Hiemstra pushes his legs off easily.

Hiemstra is posturing up here but Vaughan has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hiemstra tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hiemstra has to tap! Slick submission there by Vaughan!
