Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aden Right (ranked 5249 p4p, 2883 weight class) and Elmo Fredrico (ranked 197 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aden Right! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elmo Fredrico! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Right gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fredrico is stalling in the full guard. Fredrico working some strikes from top position. Fredrico has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fredrico's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fredrico keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Right's head. Fredrico slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fredrico passes Right's left leg - he's now in half guard. Fredrico uses his free foot to push down on Right's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fredrico lands a couple of good shots and Right has given up his back, trying to escape the position! You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Right is breathing heavily. Fredrico lands strikes to the head. Fredrico is riding his opponent, not letting Right buck him off. Fredrico is landing with strikes from the back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fredrico really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Right. Fredrico is punishing Right with some ground and pound. Right grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Fredrico connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Right to escape the position.

Fredrico slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. It looks like Fredrico might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Fredrico gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Fredrico gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Fredrico apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Right defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fredrico. Right throws a big counter combination but Fredrico scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Fredrico looking to score a takedown here. Right is defending well but Fredrico drives through and ends up in Right's guard. Fredrico controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The adventures of Fredrico the control monster continue. Boring.

Fredrico is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Fredrico looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Elmo Fredrico dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Fredrico has a takedown stuffed. Right feinted there with a counter leg kick. Fredrico manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Elmo Fredrico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fredrico shoots for a takedown but Right saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fredrico shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fredrico showed some decent athleticism there. Fredrico passes to full mount! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fredrico controlling the pace for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fredrico manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Right on his heels. He'll look to pass Right's guard now, I'm sure. Fredrico is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. More stalling from Fredrico.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fredrico lands a couple of decent looking shots. Fredrico controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fredrico shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Right sprawls well. Right wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fredrico gets slowly back to his feet. Right looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Fredrico drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fredrico remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fredrico with more of the same as he continues to hold on. Let's hope that Fredrico has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Fredrico lands a nice forearm strike. Fredrico just content to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Elmo Fredrico has got the better of the ground game so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fredrico lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Right taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fredrico in side control lands a decent elbow. Right seems a little lost for a moment, as Fredrico dominates the positioning.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fredrico drives through with a takedown into guard. Right is wriggling around but Fredrico manages to pass to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fredrico working the head and body with strikes. Aden Right has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Elmo Fredrico is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Fredrico content to control rather than advance.
And that's the end of the fight! Elmo Fredrico comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Fredrico winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
