The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Fitzgerald cracks Ruzzavu with a good jab.
Fitzgerald misses with an uppercut. Ruzzavu saw that one coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ruzzavu waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fitzgerald.
Fitzgerald tries to counter with a takedown but Ruzzavu is quick to defend against it.
Ruzzavu swings widly with a right hand
and Fitzgerald holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Fitzgerald pulls guard.
Ruzzavu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fitzgerald is keeping the position for now.
Fitzgerald is adopting a defensive guard.
Ruzzavu stopping the sweep attempt from Fitzgerald.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fitzgerald looking to control.
Fitzgerald looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ruzzavu puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Fitzgerald is trying to get back to full guard.

Fitzgerald throws an overhand right that lands on Ruzzavu's shoulder, as Ruzzavu tries to avoid the shot.
Ruzzavu tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
And that's the end of the fight!
Clark Fitzgerald showed his dominance in that final round.
