The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lim throws a jab but it's blocked by Loyola.
Lim wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Loyola fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lim, pushing him back against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Loyola.
Loyola keeps control of Lim as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Loyola stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Loyola scores with a hook to the body.
Loyola digs a right hand underneath Lim's ribcage. Lim let out a lung full of air as it connected.
A right hook to the body lands for Loyola.
Lim can't break the clinch.
Loyola lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Loyola lands a nice shot to the body.

Loyola breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lim throws a right and a left that Loyola avoids nicely.
Loyola fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Loyola thumps Lim with a low kick.
A solid body kick from Loyola.
Loyola looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lim steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Loyola. That one must have hurt.
Lim looks to land a body kick but Loyola moved away.
Loyola appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Loyola moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Loyola scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lim doesn't seem bothered though.
Loyola avoids a kick to the body.
A big right from Lim misses.
Lim throws a sloppy head kick
and Loyola cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Lim is rocked!

It looks like Hyun Gyu Lim has been cut.

Hyun Gyu Lim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lim sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Loyola closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Lim! Loyola dives in looking to finish! Lim is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
