Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Robinson!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Simon.
Robinson sizes up Simon with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Robinson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Robinson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Robinson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Simon's guard.

Robinson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Simon's head.
Robinson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Let's hope that Robinson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Robinson closes the distance and clinches up with Simon, looking for a takedown. Robinson pushes Simon against the cage but Simon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Simon looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

BOOM! Robinson connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Simon is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Johnny Robinson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Robinson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Simon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
