Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 43 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 39 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Nice sprawl there from Libat as Nada shoots in.
A quick step to the side and Libat tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nada shoots in looking for a takedown but Libat manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nada's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
As Nada looks to move away, Libat throws a big counter combo but Nada just gets out of the way.
Libat stuffs the takedown.
Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada.
Nada closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Libat quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Libat holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Libat is controlling Nada's trapped leg to prevent Nada from advancing to side control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nada shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Libat pinned against the cage. Libat gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And Libat counters with a quick kick to the body but Nada blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
No luck for Nada with that takedown attempt.
Libat tries to counter by clinching up but Nada breaks away and moves out of range.
Nada drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Libat holds on and takes a little breather.
Nada trying to stand up but can't free himself from Libat's guard.

Nada not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Libat seems keen to control Nada's posture.

Libat is trying to maintain the position but Nada is very close to passing his half guard.

Libat is looking to get back to full guard here but Nada has managed to pass to side control instead.

Nada has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

and Nada finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Libat shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nada but Nada pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nada shoots in and bounces Libat off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Way Nada is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Nada is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
