Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luke Smith!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Davide Fontolan!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fontolan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Fontolan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fontolan looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.
Smith is looking to counter punch.
Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fontolan takes a jab right on the kisser.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fontolan closes the distance looking to clinch
and Smith counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fontolan is rocked!

Fontolan tries to clinch up but Smith circles away and keeps his distance.
Luke Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith misses with a body shot
and Fontolan counters with a series of strikes. Smith will be more careful next time no doubt.
Fontolan avoids the body shot from Smith.
Fontolan pushes Smith up against the cage in a clinch.
Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fontolan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Smith on the side of the head.
Smith scores with a jab.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Fontolan.
Fontolan ducks right into an uppercut from Smith.
Fontolan is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
Smith punishes Fontolan's body with a nice straight punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fontolan.
Fontolan seems to have recovered his senses.
Smith works the jab nicely.
Fontolan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Smith knocks out Fontolan with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Smith before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Smith picks up the big W with a huge KO!
