Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dirty Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uchi Mata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dog comes to the cage accompanied by Pitbull. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Dirty Dog!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Uchi Mata!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mata looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Dog looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dog is trying to maintain the position but Mata is very close to passing his half guard.
Mata missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Mata trying to control the action but Dog is working from the bottom.

Mata is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mata tries to stand and escape but Dog is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Mata tries to clinch but Dog is having none of it.

Dog rushes Mata and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Dog lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Mata is trying to break the clinch but Dog is controlling him.

Mata jumps guard.
Dog stopping the sweep attempt from Mata.
Mata trying to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mata has a closed guard, preventing Dog from standing up.
Mata looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dog wanted to stand there but Mata had control of the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dog lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Dog is looking to clinch but Mata is avoiding it.
Dog dodges the punch combination from Mata.
Mata throws the kick towards the body but Dog avoids it.
Dog tries to clinch but Mata moves out of range.
Mata shoots in and drives through. Dog sprawls well.
Dog stuns Mata with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mata looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dog has managed to clinch.
Dog lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Mata jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dog walks away with a smile on his face. Mata gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Dog digs a good body shot into Mata's ribs.
Dog swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dog throws a right hand that Mata ducks under and follows up with a left that Mata also avoids with ease.
Dog connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dog moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Dog is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dog wants to clinch but Mata slips to the side
and Mata counters with a thumping low kick.
Dog cracks Mata with an open hand slap.
Mata takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Dog drops Mata with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mata looks back up at him and smiles so Dog waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Mata is rocked!
Dog finds Mata's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Mata flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Dog lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Mata will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dirty Dog!
