Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dick Diaz (ranked 3853 p4p, 3155 weight class) and Samuel Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Feiticeira. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dick Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samuel Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Diaz eats them both and turns towards Sanchez to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Diaz loads up on a big right hand but Sanchez slips the punch.
Diaz throws a combination that misses
and Sanchez counters with an inside leg kick.
Diaz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sanchez feints the counter takedown.
Sloppy strikes from Diaz. Those never looked like landing.
Diaz misses with a right hand
and Sanchez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sanchez jabs Diaz to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Sanchez's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sanchez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Sanchez dips to his left and cracks Diaz with an uppercut!
Diaz tries to keep at a distance but Sanchez has taken the fight into the clinch.
Diaz looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Sanchez lands with a short shot to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Diaz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dick Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanchez connects with a single shot there.
Sanchez lands a head kick that stumbles Diaz and the fighters go to the mat.
Diaz is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanchez gets to his feet and stands over Diaz, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Diaz felt that one! Sanchez unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Diaz from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samuel Sanchez!
Dick Diaz spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll Slap you harder next time!!!'.
