Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Enrico Carandang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antal rushes Carandang and presses him up against the cage.
Antal lands a big knee from the Thai clinch and Carandang goes down hard! The ref takes a good look at him but he's still defending himself. Antal in side control.
It looks like Enrico Carandang has been cut.
Antal is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carandang knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Antal wants to stand but Carandang is controlling his arm.
Antal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carandang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Carandang is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Carandang wants to control but Antal is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Carandang pushes Antal off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Antal tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Antal darts in and clinches Carandang up against the cage.
Carandang tries to pull guard but Antal holds him up against the cage and eventually Carandang drops back down to his feet.
Antal lands a knee to the body.
Carandang tries to stall but Antal uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Antal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tyson Antal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Antal throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Antal looks gassed!
Carandang fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Carandang doesn't manage to clinch there - Antal circles away.
Antal leaves Carandang with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Enrico Carandang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Antal looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Carandang takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Antal throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Antal moves into range and clinches up with Carandang.
Carandang goes for a takedown in the clinch but Antal prevents it.
Carandang tries to score a body lock takedown but Antal shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Antal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Antal closes the distance and clinches.
Antal lands a knee to the head.
Antal breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Antal moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Antal pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Antal thuds his shin into the meat of Carandang's side.
Carandang darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Carandang seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Carandang throwing shots but Antal is blocking nicely.
Carandang prevents Antal from improving his position.
Antal pushes Carandang off looking to stand but Carandang dives back in and keeps control.
Carandang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Antal taking some punishment here, with Carandang in his half guard.

Antal wants to get back to his feet.
Antal looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Carandang feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Antal quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Carandang has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Antal celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
