Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emiljan Frasheri (ranked 24461 p4p, 3964 weight class) and Chad Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Emiljan Frasheri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chad Smith!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frasheri looks to land a left hand but Smith moved out of range nicely.
Frasheri looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Frasheri misses with a straight right.
Frasheri throws a wild body kick that Smith sees coming a mile off.
Smith feints a counter leg kick.
Smith takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Emiljan Frasheri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frasheri lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice defenses there by Frasheri.
Smith keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Frasheri.
No joy there for Frasheri, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smith lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Frasheri throws a lazy uppercut
and Smith counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Emiljan Frasheri has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frasheri is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith.
Smith looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Smith backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Frasheri's temple! It sends Frasheri violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Smith celebrates and the doctors try to help Frasheri!
