Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nate Skate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Sims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Sims is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nate Skate! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Sims! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as Sims checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Sims fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Skate avoids it really well and circles away. Sims gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Skate looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Sims! Skate looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Sims tries to lock up and control but Skate gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sims might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Skate kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Skate looking to control but Sims is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sims is working to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skate is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! A combination from Sims does no damage. Sims looks gassed! Skate tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sims avoids the head kick by Skate.
Skate throws a nice looking combination but Sims bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Skate misses with a double jab
and Sims decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Skate's guard. Skate is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Sims blocking the ground and pound attempt from Skate. Skate is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sims doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Skate.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skate is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Sims has managed to free his arm - good work. Skate is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Skate controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skate seems to be working for a kimura but Sims defends the submission attempt. Skate seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Sims is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
