Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asmodeus stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Asmodeus wants it to stay on the feet.
Santos closes the distance and clinches up with Asmodeus, looking for a takedown. Santos pushes Asmodeus against the cage but Asmodeus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Asmodeus looks to land a left hand but Santos moved out of range nicely.
Santos gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Santos dives in and grabs Asmodeus's left leg, looking for a takedown. Asmodeus pushes down on Santos's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leonardo Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Santos ducks right into an uppercut from Asmodeus.
Santos tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Asmodeus defends well and Santos ends up having to push Asmodeus into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Santos jumps guard but Asmodeus turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Asmodeus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Asmodeus loads up on a big right hand but Santos slips the punch.
Santos tries to counter with a takedown but Asmodeus is quick to defend against it.
Santos looks for a takedown but Asmodeus sprawls well.
A little jabbing left from Asmodeus on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
No luck for Santos with that takedown attempt.
Santos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Asmodeus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Santos definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Santos moves away from the strike by Asmodeus.
Asmodeus misses with a looping right.
Asmodeus lands with a hook. Santos tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Santos darts in looking for a takedown but Asmodeus gets double underhooks and turns Santos into the cage.

Asmodeus manages to break the clinch.
Santos tries a low kick but Asmodeus avoids it.
Asmodeus has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Santos is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Asmodeus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
