Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Ezumi (ranked 3964 p4p, 24946 weight class) and Bigg Jyant (ranked 151 p4p, 223 weight class). Bigg Jyant will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ezumi slips a jab from Jyant.
A jab from Jyant misses.
Ezumi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ezumi checks a low kick from Jyant.
Jyant scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ezumi moves away from the strike by Jyant.
Ezumi looks to land a right hand but Jyant moved out of range.

Bigg Jyant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ezumi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Ezumi wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Jyant looks to land a left hand but Ezumi moved out of range nicely.
Ezumi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jyant throws a lazy right hand but Ezumi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ezumi lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Jyant is trying to push Ezumi away but Ezumi has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Ezumi.
Ezumi gets through Jyant's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Ezumi creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jyant's defenses.
Jyant wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Ezumi is looking to work his way around to Jyant's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

That was a close round but I would say that Ryu Ezumi will probably get the nod.

Ezumi looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jyant wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Ezumi's closed guard. He's half up but Ezumi has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Ezumi pivots and extends the arm, Jyant falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Ezumi! Well done that man!

Ryu Ezumi gave a mention to Senshi Fight Gear in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
