Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raymond Washington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dillon Brooks! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brooks misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Brooks moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Raymond Washington has been cut. A big left from Brooks misses. Washington missing with a left hand there. Brooks was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Brooks takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Washington swats away the attempt to clinch by Brooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Washington moves into the clinch successfully.
Washington tries a body shot but Brooks blocks it.

Washington lands a body punch. Brooks wants to get back to striking at distance but Washington won't allow it.

Brooks blocks an uppercut.
Brooks drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Washington gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Washington swings wildly with an uppercut but Brooks uses good head movement to avoid it. Washington digs a right hand underneath Brooks's ribcage. Brooks let out a lung full of air as it connected. Washington stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. A short right from Washington on the inside. Brooks looks winded! Washington misses with a body punch.
Washington lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Brooks backwards. Washington lands a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Washington lands a body punch. A short body shot lands from Washington as the two fighters clinch.
Washington is leaning against Brooks and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Washington lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A short body shot lands from Washington as the two fighters clinch.
A short right from Washington. Washington lands with a left to the head. Washington lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Brooks backwards.
Brooks is rocked! Washington lands with a light punch inside. Brooks is still on wobbly legs! Can Washington finish him? Washington lands with a right to the head. Washington unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Brooks! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Washington is unloading with more strikes now! Brooks drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raymond Washington! In his post fight interview, Raymond Washington started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
