The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barfield misses with an uppercut
and Shine counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Samuel Barfield has been cut.
Barfield throws a lazy uppercut
and Shine counters with a nice uppercut.
Barfield throws a poor cross that misses

Shine displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Barfield throws out the jab.

and Shine counters with a nice right hand that sends Barfield toppling to the canvas! Barfield scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Shine finish him?!

We've been told by Shine's head coaches at Convicted Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Shine thuds a left hand into Barfield's body.
Barfield is still on wobbly legs! Can Shine finish him?
Shine cracks Barfield with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Barfield looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Shine finish him?
Barfield staying out of range there.
Barfield rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Shine rattles Barfield with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Barfield tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Shine dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Barfield stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Sonny Shine!
