Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mon Key (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Eldridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Michael Eldridge was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Key misses with a body shot.
Key shoots for a double leg takedown but Eldridge sprawls well. He's pushed Key's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Eldridge keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Eldridge tries to clinch there but Key circles away.
Eldridge leaves Key with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mon Key. That's going to take a lot out of him. Excellent takedown into side control there by Eldridge. Key is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Eldridge's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Key trying to control from the bottom.
Eldridge thows an elbow strike that misses. Key gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Eldridge doesn't seem too bothered but Key quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Eldridge is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Eldridge really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mon Key!
