The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minong looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Akagi is fending him off so far but Minong persists. Nope, Akagi circles away and we're back to standing.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Akagi.
Akagi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Akagi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Minong keeps working.
Minong tries to escape but Akagi is in control.
Akagi is looking to take a break and control but Minong is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Akagi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Akagi moves into full mount!

Akagi wants to take his opponent's back but Minong doesn't allow it.
Minong wants to hold on but Akagi pushes him away.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Akagi scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Akagi wants to control the pace but Minong is squirming around nicely.
Akagi is breathing heavily.
Akagi avoids the attempt from Minong to control.
Akagi won't let Minong get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Minong is desperately trying to improve his position but Akagi has a good base and remains in mount.
Akagi manages to capitalize on a mistake by Minong to take his back!
Akagi is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Minong is tapping out! This one is all over!
