Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Minato Tokugawa (ranked 722 p4p, 919 weight class) and Dude Dudeson (ranked 116 p4p, 143 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Minato Tokugawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dude Dudeson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dudeson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tokugawa as he jumps to the side. Dudeson tries a head kick but it misses.
Dudeson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tokugawa quickly recovers to half guard. Dudeson slips a nice elbow through Tokugawa's hands, connecting with Tokugawa's forehead. Dudeson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tokugawa is staying active underneath Dudeson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Tokugawa holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Dudeson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dudeson throwing shots but Tokugawa is blocking nicely. Tokugawa wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dudeson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Dudeson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tokugawa's head. The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Tokugawa moves out of range as Dudeson strikes. Tokugawa keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dudeson. Dudeson gets tackled into the cage by Tokugawa. Tokugawa maintains the clinch. Dudeson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tokugawa prevents it.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tokugawa cracks Dudeson with a nice body shot. I was talking to Tokugawa's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Tokugawa lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Dudeson to his knees! Tokugawa keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Minato Tokugawa! An out of breath Minato Tokugawa thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. Dude Dudeson spoke after the fight, saying 'What can I say, im still the king between the sheets. Ladies hit me up 904-The-Dude!!!'.
