The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop shoots in for a double leg but shaw sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
shaw has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bishop jumps guard but shaw stands there with Bishop around his waist. Bishop gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
shaw has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bishop regains guard immediately.

shaw stands and steps away. Bishop gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
shaw throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
shaw shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bishop as he jumps to the side.
