Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Teppo Tuhkasaari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tuhkasaari comes to the cage accompanied by Proteus - Full Metal Jacket. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tuhkasaari.
A slow jab from Vargas misses its intended target.
Tuhkasaari throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Tuhkasaari slips under a jab.
Vargas throws an overhand right that lands on Tuhkasaari's shoulder, as Tuhkasaari tries to avoid the shot.
Tuhkasaari steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vargas.
Vargas misses with an uppercut. Tuhkasaari saw that one coming.
Tuhkasaari scores a takedown into full mount!
Tuhkasaari fails to move to back control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vargas wants to hold on but Tuhkasaari pushes him away.
Vargas is squirming around, avoiding Tuhkasaari's attempts to control the action.

Tuhkasaari trying to control but he's not successful this time.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tuhkasaari moves to back control.

Vargas prevents Tuhkasaari from getting a body triangle.

Tuhkasaari is persistently looking for the submission but Vargas is defending it well.

Even with his hooks in, Tuhkasaari manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Vargas wants to control from the top but Tuhkasaari keeps moving.

Vargas is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Tuhkasaari has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Vargas throws a shot from downtown. Tuhkasaari moves away and avoids it.
A jab from Vargas misses.
Vargas on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tuhkasaari. Tuhkasaari obviously looking to wear him down.
Tuhkasaari drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Tuhkasaari won't allow Vargas to sweep him here.
Tuhkasaari drops back looking for a leg! Vargas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vargas manages to kick Tuhkasaari off! Tuhkasaari jumps back into Vargas's guard.

Vargas looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Vargas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tuhkasaari is aware though and is defending well.

Vargas keeping moving, preventing Tuhkasaari from controlling successfully.
Vargas manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Tuhkasaari sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Tuhkasaari is pressing down on Vargas's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Tuhkasaari is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tuhkasaari is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Tuhkasaari tries to pass to full mount but Vargas defends it.
Vargas is refusing to be controlled, as Tuhkasaari sits in half guard.
Tuhkasaari trying to pass the guard but Vargas defending well.
Tuhkasaari uses his free foot to push down on Vargas's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Vargas.

Tuhkasaari is trying to take his opponent's back.
Vargas reaches up to try and control the position but Tuhkasaari seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Vargas rolls and tries to escape and now Tuhkasaari has his back!
Tuhkasaari working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Vargas is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Tuhkasaari has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Vargas taps out!
