Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Euan Daxton (ranked 1407 p4p, 1585 weight class) and Jing Xin Yi (ranked 187 p4p, 205 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Euan Daxton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jing Xin Yi!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xin Yi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Daxton.
Daxton throws a looping overhand right but Xin Yi ducks down to avoid it.
Xin Yi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Daxton definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Xin Yi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A big left from Daxton misses.
Xin Yi throws a nice looking combination but Daxton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Xin Yi keeps the fight on the outside.
Xin Yi throws a sloppy head kick and Daxton moves out of range easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daxton drops his hands momentarily and Xin Yi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Daxton blocks a low kick nicely.
Xin Yi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Xin Yi moves out of range as Daxton strikes.
Daxton throws a shot from downtown. Xin Yi moves away and avoids it.
Xin Yi lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
A slow jab from Daxton misses its intended target.
Xin Yi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Xin Yi scores with a head kick. Daxton tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Xin Yi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Xin Yi looks to land a left hand but Daxton moved out of range nicely.
Xin Yi's corner calls for a 1-2. Xin Yi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Daxton jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Xin Yi throws a right and a left that Daxton avoids nicely.
Daxton tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Xin Yi manages to circle out of the way.
The fighters circling - Daxton throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Xin Yi drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Daxton defends it well.
Xin Yi lets loose with a powerful body kick. Daxton will feel that in the morning.

Daxton throws the left hand but Xin Yi avoids the punch easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Xin Yi catches Daxton with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Xin Yi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Daxton.

Xin Yi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Daxton throws a hook to the side of Xin Yi's head but Xin Yi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Xin Yi with the counter takedown but Daxton avoids it easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Xin Yi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Daxton has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Daxton and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Daxton's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Xin Yi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Daxton scrambles back to his feet.
Xin Yi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Xin Yi throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Daxton misses with a hook
and Xin Yi counters by moving into the clinch.
Daxton prevents a takedown attempt there.
Daxton ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Daxton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Xin Yi wants to control from the top but Daxton keeps moving.
Xin Yi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Daxton haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Daxton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Daxton is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Xin Yi rolls with it to try and escape but Daxton cranks on the arm and Xin Yi is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
