Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nero Porto (ranked 1474 p4p, 2759 weight class) and Waheed Saqqaf (ranked 207 p4p, 341 weight class). Porto comes to the cage accompanied by Ayumi Nakamura - Kaze Ni Nare. Saqqaf has chosen The Endless River - Eternal Insomnia as his entrance music. Nero Porto is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Waheed Saqqaf!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porto stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Saqqaf.
Nice body punch from Saqqaf.
Saqqaf slips a jab from Porto.
Saqqaf scores with a head kick.
Porto connects with a jab.
Porto connects with the punch.
Porto lands a glancing blow to the side of Saqqaf's head.
Porto shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Good exchange - Saqqaf coming out on top.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice jab there from Porto.
Saqqaf throws a leg kick which misses Porto's front leg but catches the back leg as Porto tries to avoid it.
Porto connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Saqqaf momentarily.
Porto feints and as Saqqaf raises his hands in defense, Porto changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Saqqaf has control of Porto's left arm, preventing Porto from doing any damage.
Porto lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Porto tries to free his leg and advance position but Saqqaf is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Porto content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Saqqaf is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Saqqaf is looking for a triangle but Porto pushes his legs off easily.
Porto working some strikes from top position.
Porto throws an elbow that misses. Saqqaf uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Porto's guard. Nice move by Saqqaf!
My spies in Final Mile inform me that Saqqaf has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Saqqaf got a little sloppy there for a moment and Porto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Saqqaf has managed to get both his arms back between Porto's legs - danger averted.

Porto tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Saqqaf trying to control but Porto is working from the bottom.

Saqqaf content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Porto has locked up a guillotine! Porto's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Saqqaf is holding on here and Porto must be using up a lot of energy. Saqqaf has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Porto gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

After winning the bout, Nero Porto thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
