Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raymond Washington!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cue Efcee Ownlee!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ownlee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ownlee misses with a series of wild punches.
Washington throwing a counter right hand but Ownlee manages to avoid it.
A low kick from Ownlee misses
and Washington cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Cue Efcee Ownlee has been cut.
Ownlee cracks Washington with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Raymond Washington has been cut.
Ownlee tries for a takedown but Washington circles away easily
and Washington counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

No luck for Ownlee with that takedown attempt.
Washington swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Raymond Washington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cue Efcee Ownlee.

Ownlee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A quick step to the side and Washington tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ownlee tries to clinch up.
Raymond Washington is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ownlee throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Washington circles away from the clinch attempt
and Washington counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A head kick misses from Ownlee.
Ownlee lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Ownlee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Washington swivels and escapes.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ownlee tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Washington manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Washington counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ownlee! Washington lets Ownlee back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Ownlee is rocked!
That has opened up Cue Efcee Ownlee's cut even more.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ownlee dives in and grabs Washington's left leg, looking for a takedown. Washington pushes down on Ownlee's head and hops out.

It looked like Washington was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ownlee.

and Washington counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ownlee! Washington lets Ownlee back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Ownlee is still on wobbly legs! Can Washington finish him?
The cut above Cue Efcee Ownlee's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

and Washington counters with a huge right that knocks Ownlee out cold! Washington is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Raymond Washington!
Raymond Washington decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
