Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 23707 p4p, 23729 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Walay Buut enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 26 - 39 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 37 - 33 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Mibangon darts in looking for a takedown but Buut gets double underhooks and turns Mibangon into the cage. Mibangon stops a takedown attempt from Buut.
Mibangon drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Buut has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mibangon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon rolls, trying to escape but Buut keeps control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Mibangon grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Buut biding his time, controlling Mibangon. Even with his hooks in, Buut manages to miss with strikes from the back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Buut gets his hands free as Mibangon looks to control. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon covering up well under a series of strikes from Buut. Buut not allowing Mibangon to control his hands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Buut just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Mibangon fails to land the takedown. Buut with the counter takedown but Mibangon avoids it easily. Buut fails with the takedown. It appears Mibangon was looking to counter with a kick there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut gets the takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon struggling a bit here. Buut trying to control the position but Mibangon is working away. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mibangon tries to improve position but can't. Mibangon struggling a bit here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Buut fails with the takedown and Mibangon counters with a three punch combo that has Buut backing up. Buut nods at Mibangon to acknowledge the strikes. Mibangon dives in and scores a takedown into Buut's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Buut is pulling down on Mibangon's head. It's preventing any offense from Mibangon, at least for the moment. Buut is continuing to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mibangon trying to control the position from guard on top but Buut is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Minatay Mibangon will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Buut doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mibangon counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Buut fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mibangon to the ground. Buut is now in Mibangon's guard. Buut stays in close to Mibangon's body and controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut being controlled here momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut passes Mibangon's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Mibangon wants to control but Buut is keeping busy.
Mibangon has his hands clasped together around Buut's back. He's all about the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Buut looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mibangon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Mibangon winds up and cracks Buut with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut is positioning himself well to prevent Mibangon advancing to mount. Buut has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mibangon is working away from the top position though. Mibangon performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Buut is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mibangon is thwarting Buut's attempts to control the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Buut wants to sweep but Mibangon has passed to side control! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut manages to work his way to half guard, despite Mibangon's best efforts.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Minatay Mibangon. I think Mibangon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
