Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23409 p4p, 23659 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wala Sapi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 44 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 34 - 35 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Sapi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Libat sprawls well initially but Sapi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sapi is nestled in close to Libat, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Sapi trying to control the pace. Libat is trying to get back to full guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sapi is figuring out what he wants to do next. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. It looks like Sapi might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Sapi tries for a takedown but Libat sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. And Libat counters with a quick kick to the body but Sapi blocks it. Libat fails with the takedown. Sapi follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! That was a close round but I would say that Higanti Libat will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Sapi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Libat defends well and Sapi ends up having to push Libat into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Libat shoots in and bounces Sapi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Sapi is wriggling around but Libat manages to pass to half guard.

Libat gets slowly back to his feet. Sapi throws a lazy body kick and Libat counters with a good, hard body kick but Sapi shrugs it off. Libat shoots in for a double leg but Sapi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sapi follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sapi misses with the body kick and Libat makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Sapi really felt that one! Sapi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Libat as he avoids it easily. Libat displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sapi. Libat throws a quick counter kick to the body but Sapi avoids it. Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wala Sapi. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi closes the distance and clinches up with Libat, looking for a takedown. Sapi pushes Libat against the cage but Libat circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Higanti Libat dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Libat closes the distance and clinches up with Sapi, looking for a takedown. Libat pushes Sapi against the cage but Sapi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Libat crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sapi - the referee stops the clock and Libat gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sapi. Libat manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Libat fails with the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sapi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wala Sapi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Higanti Libat is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sapi taking a breather here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat can't do much from the bottom here.
And that's the end of the fight! Wala Sapi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Libat has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
