Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Deckel sprawls well initially but Dan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dan with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Deckel is looking to control Dan 's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Deckel avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dan is trying to control. Deckel wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Dan drops an elbow to the side of Deckel's head.

Dan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Dan seems to be looking for submissions.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Deckel!
Dan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Deckel is looking to escape.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Deckel is wriggling around trying to escape.
Deckel is bucking up trying to escape but Dan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Dan landing strikes from the mount.

It looks like Topf Deckel has been cut.
Deckel is working to get back to half guard.

Deckel is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dan postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Deckel bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Dan and the fight is over!
