This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Rip Dolomite! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Antonio Darko! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Darko closes the distance and clinches. Dolomite fails to pull guard.
Darko jumps guard but Dolomite stands there with Darko around his waist. Darko gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Dolomite wants a takedown.
Dolomite changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Darko fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Darko is looking to take a break and control but Dolomite is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dolomite is letting Darko control him for a moment. Darko wants to control but Dolomite is keeping him busy. Darko swings around for an armbar but Dolomite sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Darko's guard. Darko is not content to let Dolomite control the position. Dolomite looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's seven minutes gone in the round. Dolomite looking for a guillotine from mount but Darko is having none of it. Darko is desperately trying to improve his position but Dolomite has a good base and remains in mount. Dolomite goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Darko turns into him and now he's in Dolomite's guard.

Darko wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dolomite, who protects the arm well. Dolomite is trying to control Darko's posture but Darko avoids it. Dolomite regains half guard there - taking advantage of Darko's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Darko stalling away here and it's allowed Dolomite to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Darko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Darko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dolomite escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Darko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Darko pushes down on Dolomite's leg and manages to get into half guard. Darko is looking to advance position but Dolomite won't allow it.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Darko is looking to stall here but Dolomite recovers full guard. Darko is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Darko slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Score +3 for passing guard: Dolomite (5) vs (12) Darko Darko is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dolomite has escaped the position, nice work there. Dolomite is letting Darko control him for a moment.
That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Darko working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Darko wants to control but Dolomite is keeping him busy. That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Darko is riding his opponent, not letting Dolomite buck him off. Darko has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Darko looking for the RNC. Dolomite is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Darko gets his way!
Darko looking to break Dolomite's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Dolomite remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Darko will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Darko trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Dolomite doesn't escape. Darko has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Dolomite has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
