Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hans Lippencot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimitris Bithoulkas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bithoulkas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. My Halloumia kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hans Lippencot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dimitris Bithoulkas! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lippencot swats away the attempt to clinch by Bithoulkas. Lippencot throws out a loose jab but Bithoulkas uses good head movement to avoid it. Lippencot misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bithoulkas.
Bithoulkas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lippencot manages to avoid it. Nice sprawl there from Lippencot as Bithoulkas shoots in. Lippencot throws a jab when Bithoulkas was well out of range. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bithoulkas. Lippencot thows a left - swing and a miss! A big left from Lippencot misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bithoulkas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Lippencot keeping moving, preventing Bithoulkas from controlling successfully. Lippencot is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lippencot is keen to just control but Bithoulkas is a slippery customer. Lippencot looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bithoulkas trying to hold on to Lippencot's head to control him but Lippencot postures up.
Bithoulkas flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Bithoulkas is trying to get back to full guard. Lippencot stalling. Bithoulkas is looking for a sweep. Lippencot is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bithoulkas is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A shot to de liver by Lippencot. Beautiful body shot. Bithoulkas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lippencot.
A punch lands to the side of Bithoulkas 's head but he takes it in his stride. Bithoulkas takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bithoulkas looks gassed! Lippencot drops Bithoulkas with a big left hand and mounts him. Bithoulkas is in big trouble!

Bithoulkas is rocked!

It looks like Dimitris Bithoulkas has been cut. Lippencot takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Bithoulkas is still in real trouble! Can Lippencot finish him? Bithoulkas seems to have recovered his senses.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lippencot can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bithoulkas is looking to escape. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bithoulkas can do anything to dispel that myth. Lippencot prevents Bithoulkas from getting the reversal. Bithoulkas swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Bithoulkas is wriggling around trying to escape.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lippencot tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Bithoulkas is squirming around, avoiding Lippencot's attempts to control the action. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Lippencot prevents Bithoulkas from getting the reversal. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lippencot tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lippencot misses with a jab to the body
and Bithoulkas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lippencot's guard now. Bithoulkas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lippencot is keeping the position for now. Bithoulkas trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bithoulkas throws a strike but Lippencot rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Lippencot tries to free his leg and advance position but Bithoulkas is retaining full guard.
Lippencot decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Bithoulkas closes the distance and clinches.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bithoulkas has Lippencot pressed against the cage, preventing Lippencot from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A short right from Lippencot on the inside. Lippencot is trying to break the clinch but Bithoulkas is controlling him. Bithoulkas unloads a knee to the mid-section. Lippencot lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lippencot misses with some punches.

Hans Lippencot is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bithoulkas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lippencot sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bithoulkas somewhat. Lippencot throws a hook but Bithoulkas blocks it. Bithoulkas misses the jab.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bithoulkas fails with a takedown attempt. Hans Lippencot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dimitris Bithoulkas. Lippencot slaps away a takedown attempt from Bithoulkas, before circling back to the center of the mat. Lippencot throws a shot to the body.
Lippencot falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bithoulkas counters with a stiff right hand. Lippencot throws a looping overhand right but Bithoulkas ducks down to avoid it. Bithoulkas swings for the body but Lippencot moves out of range.
Dimitris Bithoulkas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bithoulkas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lippencot misses the jab.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lippencot misses with a wild body shot. Lippencot misses with a wild combination.
Bithoulkas gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lippencot. Lippencot throws a right and a left that Bithoulkas avoids nicely. Lippencot avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bithoulkas looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bithoulkas drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bithoulkas is trying to ground and pound but Lippencot uses the momentary lack of control by Bithoulkas to regain half guard. Lippencot controlling the position for now.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Bithoulkas wants to pass the guard but Lippencot is defending well. Bithoulkas throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bithoulkas sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lippencot defending well though. Bithoulkas is keen to just control but Lippencot is a slippery customer. Bithoulkas takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Lippencot catches Bithoulkas napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Bithoulkas to the canvas!
Bithoulkas has his foot on Lippencot's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lippencot works his way back into a safe position though.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bithoulkas is trying to get back to full guard. Lippencot trying to mount his opponent but Bithoulkas defends it. Lippencot controlling the pace.
Bithoulkas has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Lippencot escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Lippencot!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lippencot tries to move to mount but Bithoulkas blocks the move with his legs. Bithoulkas can't do much from the bottom here. The referee asks Lippencot politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lippencot prefers to stall for the moment though. Bithoulkas is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lippencot asserts his dominance and retains side control. Bithoulkas tries to buck Lippencot off but Lippencot is having none of it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bithoulkas looking for a sweep but Lippencot has passed into full mount! Oh no! Lippencot looking to control but Bithoulkas is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Lippencot looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Hans Lippencot showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lippencot has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
