This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Antonio Darko! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Cleber Rocha! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Darko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rocha sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Darko somewhat. Rocha tries to counter with a clinch but Darko shakes him off and moves away. Darko shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rocha defends it nicely. Rocha drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Darko dives on top into guard. Rocha has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Both fighters are looking very determined. Darko is controlling the position but Rocha somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Darko in particular looking to stall. Darko works his foot free and advances to mount. God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rocha swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Darko is now in Rocha's guard.
