Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Perry Manson (ranked 22761 p4p, 4184 weight class) and Bubble Shrimp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Perry Manson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Bubble Shrimp!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manson throws a body kick that misses.
Manson wants to slow Shrimp down by chopping away at his legs.
Shrimp lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Shrimp moves to clinch but Manson breaks away
and Manson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Shrimp connects with a body shot that sends Manson's belly button to the back.
Perry Manson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shrimp on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Manson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shrimp defends it nicely.
As Manson backs off Shrimp throws a huge counter combo but Manson manages to avoid it all.
Manson lands with an uppercut that bounces Shrimp off the cage and back into range.
Manson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manson wants to land a leg kick but Shrimp is out of range.
Manson misses with a body kick.
Manson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Shrimp uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A punch combination from Shrimp misses.
Shrimp misses with a looping left.

Manson throws a leg kick but Shrimp checks it.
Shrimp is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Shrimp tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Manson tried to score with a low kick but Shrimp checks it.
Shrimp takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Shrimp checks the leg kick nicely there.
Shrimp closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Manson throws a front kick aimed at Shrimp's knee but Shrimp avoids it well.
Manson keeps the fight on the outside.
Shrimp misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Manson.
Manson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Manson lands in his opponent's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Manson is stalling in the full guard.

Manson pushing down on Shrimp's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Shrimp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Manson stalling.
Shrimp is trying to maintain the position but Manson is very close to passing his half guard.
Manson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Shrimp defends it well.

Still in half guard, Manson seems content to control.
Manson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Manson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Manson in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Shrimp tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Manson!

After winning the bout, Perry Manson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
