Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Whealer Van Hire (ranked 1021 p4p, 379 weight class) and Jeong Hoon Chai (ranked 101 p4p, 41 weight class). Van Hire comes to the cage accompanied by Till I Collapse. Jeong Hoon Chai told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeong Hoon Chai!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chai attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Chai checks a leg kick.

Chai replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Van Hire blocks it well.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Chai in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

That was a close second round but I would say that Whealer Van Hire will probably get the nod.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Chai lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Van Hire has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Van Hire and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
