And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Skye Breeze!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kourov throws a looping overhand right but Breeze ducks down to avoid it.
Breeze slips a jab and a cross from Kourov.
Kourov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kourov has closed the distance and engaged Breeze in a clinch.
Breeze misses with a hook from the clinch.
Breeze is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Breeze.
Breeze misses with some punches.
Kourov manages to break the clinch.
Kourov ducks under a wild hook from Breeze.
Kourov closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kourov cracks Breeze with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Breeze falls to his knees and Kourov doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vino Kourov!
Vino Kourov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
