Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Romulus Germanicus (ranked 3506 p4p, 3602 weight class) and Michel Blanc (ranked 408 p4p, 415 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Romulus Germanicus !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Michel Blanc!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Germanicus misses with a body shot.
Blanc just misses with a punch to the body.
Germanicus is looking to counter with a body kick.
Nice jab there from Blanc.
Blanc swings widly with a right hand
and Germanicus counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Blanc fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Germanicus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Germanicus misses with an uppercut
and Blanc counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Blanc throws a body shot but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blanc turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Blanc throws the left hand but Germanicus avoids the punch easily.

and Germanicus counters with a good, hard body kick but Blanc shrugs it off.

Blanc tries a head kick but it misses.
We've been told by Germanicus 's head coaches at Casa Steel that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A head kick from Blanc lands but Germanicus takes it in his stride.
A solid leg kick lands there for Germanicus .
Germanicus takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Blanc lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Blanc throws a head kick that Germanicus semi-blocks.

It looks like Michel Blanc has been cut.
A swing and a miss from Blanc.
A solid leg kick lands there for Blanc.
Blanc with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Germanicus misses with a hook to the body
and Blanc counters with a stiff right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Germanicus takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Germanicus looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Blanc stalks Germanicus and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Germanicus 's face. Germanicus staggers backwards, shaken.
Germanicus walks into a jab.
Blanc gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Germanicus counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Germanicus staying out of range there.
Blanc finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
It appears Germanicus was looking to counter with a kick there.
Blanc swinging wildly here.
Blanc throws a jab when Germanicus was well out of range.
Germanicus avoids the body shot from Blanc.

Michel Blanc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blanc lands with a good body shot.
Blanc sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Blanc misses with a hook. Germanicus ducked under it nicely.

Germanicus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Blanc throws out the jab.

It looked like Germanicus wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Blanc is looking to slow Germanicus down with leg kicks.
Blanc lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Germanicus circles away quickly and effectively.

Germanicus lands a big head kick that sends Blanc tumbling to the mat! Germanicus takes a step backwards and waves Blanc back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Germanicus closes the distance and pushes Blanc back into the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Germanicus .
Blanc tries to throw a body punch but Germanicus avoids it by throwing Blanc back against the cage.
Germanicus scores with a shoulder strike.
Germanicus throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Blanc blocks it with crossed arms.
Blanc has a couple of punches blocked by Germanicus .
Blanc escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Germanicus takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Germanicus lands a big head kick that sends Blanc tumbling to the mat! Germanicus takes a step backwards and waves Blanc back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Blanc is rocked!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Michel Blanc will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Michel Blanc's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Blanc throws a body punch but Germanicus moves out of range.
Blanc is still on wobbly legs! Can Germanicus finish him?
That has opened up Michel Blanc's cut even more.
Blanc tries to bum rush Germanicus with a series of wild strikes but Germanicus uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A little feinted left hand from Germanicus on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Germanicus weaves into range and cracks Blanc right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Blanc goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Germanicus is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Romulus Germanicus !
