The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kenyatta moves into the clinch.

Kenyatta has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Mintzberg is trying to keep an underhook but Kenyatta manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Kenyatta seems content to control.
Kenyatta seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mintzberg for as long as he can get away with.

Kenyatta works his foot free and advances to mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kenyatta cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Mintzberg wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mintzberg is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Kenyatta locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Mintzberg is forced to tap!
