Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Trevor Fitzgerald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zdenko Nokaut!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzgerald stuffs the takedown attempt from Nokaut. Nokaut gets slowly back to his feet.
Nice uppercut there from Fitzgerald.
Fitzgerald throws a jab when Nokaut was well out of range.
Fitzgerald throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nokaut shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A telegraphed right hand from Fitzgerald misses the target.
Nokaut feints the counter takedown.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nokaut.
Nokaut keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fitzgerald.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nokaut defending well as Fitzgerald loads up on a big left hand.
Fitzgerald keeps the fight on the outside.
Nokaut pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nokaut with a lazy takedown attempt
and Fitzgerald counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Trevor Fitzgerald has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zdenko Nokaut.
Fitzgerald connects with a nice looking jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fitzgerald throws out a loose jab but Nokaut uses good head movement to avoid it.
And Nokaut tries to counter it with a takedown but Fitzgerald pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Nokaut shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fitzgerald but Fitzgerald pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fitzgerald throwing a counter right hand but Nokaut manages to avoid it.
Nokaut uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fitzgerald.
Nokaut swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fitzgerald lands with an uppercut that bounces Nokaut off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Zdenko Nokaut has been cut.
Nokaut takes one on the chin but seems OK.
BOOM! Fitzgerald lands a beautiful left hook that drops Nokaut. Nokaut tries to recover but Fitzgerald is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Nokaut lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trevor Fitzgerald!
