Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ripley West (ranked 2201 p4p, 3792 weight class) and John Dickweed (ranked 250 p4p, 410 weight class). The key to victory for Ripley West has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ripley West!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Dickweed!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West throws a series of punches but Dickweed moves out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dickweed has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
West connects with a right hand. Dickweed shakes it off.

Dickweed shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Dickweed jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as West walks away with a smile on his face. Dickweed gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

West seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

West bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dickweed's head backwards.
West is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
West fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Dickweed wants to counter the offense by West and move into the clinch position.
Dickweed darts in looking for a takedown but West gets double underhooks and turns Dickweed into the cage.
Dickweed shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has West pinned against the cage. West gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

West is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dickweed can do to turn this around?
Dickweed shoots in looking for a takedown but West manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dickweed's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
West uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dickweed has time to react.

A jab-cross combination lands for West and sends Dickweed crashing to the mat! West follows him down to the mat - Dickweed regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Dickweed is rocked!
West looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dickweed with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Dickweed is still in real trouble! Can West finish him?
West lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Dickweed quite badly. Dickweed pulls West in close trying to recover. West postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Dickweed on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Dickweed doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ripley West!
After the fight, Ripley West was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
