Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eli Vieira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, I Am Jewish!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jewish slips under a jab from Vieira.

Vieira is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jewish sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Jewish is fighting off a takedown attempt but Vieira is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jewish to the mat. Jewish regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's time! Vieira's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jewish ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vieira moves away.
Jewish with a nice calf kick.
Jewish fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vieira has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jewish throws a low kick but Vieira moves out of range easily.
Jewish has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Vieira uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Vieira is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Vieira swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jewish does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jewish fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Vieira.
Jewish lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Vieira backs up against the cage.
Jewish moves into the clinch.
Jewish breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jewish lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jewish takes a swing at Vieira's ribcage but misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jewish bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vieira's guard.

Vieira has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jewish can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Vieira is looking to cinch up a triangle. Jewish throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Vieira's body to avoid the submission. Vieira has instead reached around Jewish's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Vieira arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

A determined Eli Vieira didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
